Actor Shahid Kapoor's known to guard his personal life rather fiercely. But incidentally, the actor's increasingly finding himself making news more for his link-ups of late than work, the latest one being with actor Anushka Sharma with whom he was spotted attending several events recently. The two have even signed a film together now. But while Shahid prefers to look the other way as speculations about his personal space continue to mount, this time the actor is apparently rather upset about these rumours.
A source close to the stars says, "Shahid is extremely upset with being linked up so frivolously. For him, relationships are very sacred and he doesn't take them lightly ever, so these random link-ups naturally trouble him." The actor himself took to Twitter and posted: "If nothing else they need to respect the dignity of a girl!!" Apparently the actor is making no bones to hide his anger among his friends. Says one, "Shahid just doesn't understand why people have such a hard time accepting that it's okay for two young people to have friends in the same industry and enjoy partying with them too. He's tired of people always speculating and linking him up with every good friend of his. Though he always chooses to laugh off these rumours, he thinks now he's had enough of it. There has to be a line drawn somewhere, he feels."
As for his real equation with Anushka, the source says, that they just get along well. "Who's to say what happens between two people and when things change, but as of now, he and Anushka are just good friends!" the source adds.
