US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) approved Regional Center for the EB-5 Program

Decoding the various aspects of obtaining US Citizenship
The Colorado Regional Center (CRC), a US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) approved Regional Center for the EB-5 Program, announced a two-day interactive seminar to be held in Mumbai on US Citizenship opportunity through investment, as per the EB-5 Immigration Investment Program on October 12 and 13. The seminar will offer Indian nationals an opportunity to obtain US Citizenship for themselves, their spouse and unmarried children (under 21 years).

There is growing anxiety among Indian investors with regards to the EB-5 program, with speculations about the rise in investment limit and ambiguity about the waiting period for the residency. Through the twoday seminar, Johan Segerdahl (Managing Partner, CRC) along with other officials, will present an EB-investment project for Indian investors — Empire Outlets. A project supported by the USCIS and two Regional Centers, Empire Outlets is nearing completion, thus providing investors the benefit of an accelerated citizenship process and security against the possible hike in investment prices. Further, the project has its I-924 Exemplar Approval and I-526 approvals and enjoys strong financial backing from New York City and New York State, as well as Goldman Sachs, which is the lead equity investor and bridge loan lender.

The seminar is ideal for businessmen, entrepreneurs, C-suite executives and HNI’s seeking a means to obtain a Green Card for themselves, spouse and children under the age of 21, offering them a superior lifestyle with the best in healthcare, education and standard of living.

Deepesh Deshmukh (EB-5 Investment Project Facilitator for India, New York Empire Outlets Fund I, LLC), says, “The Empire Outlet Project is a first-of-its-kind Outlet Mall in New York and its grand opening ahead of the holiday season this year is highly anticipated. While this translates as a short investment window for Indian investors, it also ensures a reduced time frame of processing of permanent residency application. With the recent uncertainty over the investment value slabs being raised from USD 500,000 for TEA and USD 1,000,000 for non-TEA (an EB-5 raise is suggested to go to close to $1M for TEA and $1.8M for non-TEA per draft legislation), the Empire Outlet project offers Indian investors seeking immediate participation, an opportunity to enjoy the current rates with the assured benefit of accelerated permanent residency.”

Where: Grand Hyatt, Santacruz.

When: October 12 and 13, 10 am to 5 pm.
