Tamana Chona - India's 10 Ordinary People with Extraordinary Tales

Tamana Chona is one the special children who didn’t let her challenges repress her sprits. Tamana was s born with cerebral palsy and now is a teacher at the DPS Infant School in Delhi. Her academic advances are mainly due to the efforts made by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). She completed her class X and XII at NIOS, she said, “The teachers really helped me. And I made many friends. The best thing about NIOS is that all the people were helpful,” as reported by TNN. She is also the winner of the Dr. Batra’s Positive Health Awards.
