Hiranya and ThiruvaraHiranya and Thiruvara are the eleven year old twins who were born with cerebral palsy and are bound to wheelchair. As per the doctors surgery is the only cure in such cases. The twins also needed surgery. This is when Niramaya insurance came to their rescue, which covers people with disabilities. The Niramaya scheme launched by the National Trust is the first to offer a health insurance for the differently-abled. The twins have found relief by surgery. However Thiruvara still needs a spine surgery to be able to sit up which Niramaya might make it possible.
